Hair - March 2007

My hair grows really really slow and by the time its 2 my sholder it is time 2 get it cut again because it splits really bad, so my question is there any thing out there that causes ur hair 2 grow fast and not to split? PlEASE HELP ME

I was planning on buying some hair some an online store and making my own dreadfalls.
Is there any store where you can just buy hair peices to be put on a dreadfall?
Also, to make them into dreads, do I backcomb them or what?
How do you attatch the falls to the ribbon needed to put them in your hair?
(btw, please do not answer if you don't know what a dreadfall is. I don't want a bunch of questions of 'what's a dreadfall?" 'what are those' crap. if you don't know what they are, don't answer.)

I tried to dye my hair a light brown/ dark blonde color a few days ago and when I washed it out it was a gray blue color. I realized afterwards that it was for people with gray hair. So, I bought another box of hairdye that was the same color, but a different brand. It turned out an even darker gray/blue color. Now I want to dye it back to a blonde/brown color and I'm not sure how to without messing it up even more and the salon says that I shouldn't dye it for 4-6 weeks,and I dont want to have to keep it that long.

I was wondering if it was safe to perm,dye,and highlight your hair within a week. I would just dye and highlight my hair without the perm but i need it BADLY! Oh and i have thick hair about four inches below my chin and i'm getting it professionly done if that helps any....

to be hairy or non-hairy? and why? I love my man's chest full of hair, just the right amount. A man with no hair on his chest reminds me too much of a 'boy.' no offense. I like just the right amount - although my cute hubby is nearly bald on his head, he's just right everywhere else. What do you think?
