Hair - March 2007

I Died my hair dark purple about half a year ago, my hair is naturally blond, i want it back to its natural color, the purple colour faded from purple, to brown, to reddish brown, and then too a gingery color, and a hairdresser told me too keep dying it light ash brown to get rid of the redness but i've been doing this for months and it seems too stay darker brown for maybe a few days then it looks gingery again. I want to get it stripped at a salon but i don't know how long i have to wait since i last died it, or if it will go worse ginger.
HELP!I've had trouble with this for so long.

About a week ago I noticed that the top of my head felt greasy, like I forgot to wash out the conditioner. It is still there and getting worse even though I wash it every day. Does anyone know what this could be?

I have natural curly/wavy hair. When ever I wake up in the morning, it's always a puffy out-of-control mess. I've tried to wash my hair in the morning, but my curls seem very dull and wild when it dries. Is there any product out there that can control my hair, but still enhance it too?

My daughter has Lice I think she may have gotten it from softball she played catcher and the girls all share the head gear.She has thick curly hair down to her butt how can I make sure it wont come back shes in the shower now washing out the Rid shampoo. my friend and i just got some Sun-In for our hair, to make it lighter. my dads girlfriend told me that it isn't good for your hair, and that is shouldn't use it or it might ruin my hair? is that true? i want to know if i should use it. if it isn't good, is there any other products that might slightly lighten your hair, that won't ruint it?

I was just wondering what your opinion is on why women bleach their hair so light that it actually is white not blonde? I understnad people liking blonde hair and wanting it so lightening their hair or changing to a blonde shade i get, but never understood why they think white looks good, it looks so un natural and most women would look so much prettier with a more natural shade -anyone agree with that?

Streak in hair?

i'm asian and my hair is currently black (naturally) with browny blonde slices (it pretty much looks like streaks) but everyone seems to have it these days. i want to dye my hair a dark brown colour (completely) and i was wondering if it would look any good if i had a black streak in it.. sort of like how some people dye their hair completely black and have one streak of some colour (eg: hot pink) .. would it look any good .. a single black streak on brown hair? (i can't have any "unnatural" colours (eg: pink, blue, purple) in my hair because of school =/

I have naturally very dark hair, as I got bored of I've had some blonde highlights put in, giving an overall dark blonde/light brown colour to me hair.
