You can get this really good stuff at sallys beauty supply. It is called the red gold color corrector. It comes in a little tube that it purple. They are only like $1.50 and it really works. Just mix some in your shampoo.

Simply Silver by Nexxus or Shine Blonde by L'oreal, both of this are salon only products (you can probably check their websites for stockists in your area). They are bright purple in colour which counteracts yellow tone. Don't use everytime you shampoo, but use once a week or fornight and this will maintain a nice colour, use too often and you can end up with a battleship grey tone (not nice)!!

My favorite product to combat brassiness is Aveda's Blue Malve conditioner. You use it everytime you wash your hair until you get the desired color - then use it every third wash to maintain. Just make sure you apply it evenly and comb it through, or the results can look patchy. It can be a lifesaver! An 8.5oz. tube is around $16 and you can get it at any Aveda salon or store.

You can take the brassiness out by using a shampoo like simply-silver or another brand of shampoo for gray hair that is a bluing shampoo that will take the yellow out.

Oh. Definitely underlayers. Highlights&tips are so plain and boring now, in my opinion. But underlayers are something that will always be drastic, imo, and easy to pull off : D. It also looks amazing.

why dont you re-dye the area you died blonde???
i relaise this will damage your hair but you will then get the blonde tone you were looking for!
then all you have to do is buy a good conditioner that protects and repairs your hair!
good luck honey!

If you had the highlights done by a hairstylist, call her and let her know that you think they are too brassy.
Your hairstylist can use toners to correct the colors that you do not like.

u can actually use different hair styles to let it look more suddle while the color tones down after a few washes, like a pony tail (straight back) w/a headband
