What a glaze does is gives the hair shine. So it won't lighten your hair color.

A glaze makes your hair pretty and shiny.

Here's a tip... to go lighter you need bleach. You can't lift color with color. Even if you buy a lighter brown hair dye it won't lighten it. The most it will do is turn it a brassy/orange/red color, and I assume that is not what you want. Go see a pro, trust me.

it doesnt lighten it.
if you read the bottle it says it has no peroxcide etc.
glazes help condition hair and make dull color bright, and make it silky and shiny.
try lemon juice when the sun comes out.
give it a few tries.

i tried a red glaze on my dyed red hair, i found it very overpriced for the effect - which basically made my hair look a bit brighter and slightly glossier - for one day til i washed it again. defo not worth the cash
