My cousin (who has natural hair and is black) swears by Ouidad. It's only sold online and at specialty stores, but if you can find it it is fabulous. I used it as a deep conditioning treatment on my hair when I was visiting her - and it never felt healthier!

Curl Junkie makes great leave-in conditioners.
The conditioners are made for very curly hair, regardless of race. The line is popular with both black and white women with curly hair.

Use pantene pro-v for women of color or Garnier frutis' that's the best for my hair anyway. I have braids and My ends have grew about 6inches since I started using them. Garnier will help keep your hair strong pantene is good for everday use.

I'm white and have thick, curly, red hair and I use cholesteral. It's pretty cheap and you can find it inthe ethnic section of a drug or retail store. Use it just like conditioner and rinse.
