Coat her hair heavily with mayonnaise-the old really super fatty kind, cover with plastic and let it sit for an hour, then wash. The fat will make them AND the nits slide right out. Wash EVERYTHING in the house in water as hot as you can get it. The couches and other furniture either spray with lysol or I think it is RID that makes a spray actually intended to kill them on surfaces.
If she washes her hair every day, have her change to every other if it's possible. They are not caused by dirty hair and dirty hair does NOT make them more likely, it actually increases teh chances of them. With super clean hair they are better able to hang on. Durign lice season I have my daughter wash hers only every other day at the most unless she's been out somewhere to get it too dirty.
Boil all the combs/brushes, etc. Check EVERYONES head in the house and tie up all stuffed animals in plastic bags for at least 2 weeks.

You can buy a spray for linens, upholstery, carpet, bedding. It works great. Also bag up any stuffed animals and put the bag in the garage or building somewhere after spraying them as well. It will take hours, but comb thru her hair in sections to make sure you get all of the eggs out. Putting mayonaise on your hair and letting it sit for about an hour as a second step after the rid is a good idea, it quickly suffocates any that may be left. Vaccuum all furniture and carpets, wash curtains and bedding. That should take care of it.

The rid shampoo will not work. You will think I'm crazy but you have to take gas, you know the one for your car. Rub it throught her hair so all the hair is wet. Then wrap her hair up with a towel very well so nothing, not even air, can escape. Sha has to try to last as long as she can with it then wash it all out. But before you wash anything, use that lice comb that came from the Rid shampoo and brush all those suckers out. You may have to repeat this a few times until she is done with the lice but it really works. My mom did it to me.

just treat the whole family with the lice shampoo and comb them all out... check everyone a couple of times a week with the comb to make sure they dont come back and tie your daughters hair back when she's around people who may have lice... a plait is best because they are less likely to be able to get into her hair if it's tied out of the way.

u need to actually comb the lice out with a special comb, and uses various types of shapoos. put all stuff her hair would hav touched in air-tight bags, or find a certain type of soap to wash it out. with her hair it'll b very difficult, but if u dont take care of it soon, your whole house will hav lice.

everyone in the house needs to be checked for lice.
all bedding needs to be washed and dried (in dryer)
carpets and furniture sprayed with lice spray and vacuumed.
all stuffed animals need to be put in a trashbag and tied shut for 2 weeks.
make sure not to forget the little things.. such as any hair ties, hairbrush/combs , hats.

you have to wash everything in your house, and spray the furniture with the rid spray. if the rid does not get rid of the lice, try using carosine. it smells bad and burns a little but it will get rid of the lice

New pillows, treat all furniture including that bedding,
Keep washing her hair every day. Tell her to use rinse and in the shower keep combing it out . follow the instructions.because curly hair is easier to brush when wet and full of rinse. use that comb and brush
