You can't really repair split ends. The best thing to do would be to get a haircut and start fresh. Just tell your stylist that you want to trim off your split ends.
Then yes, start to research shampoos that have a good moisurizing agent in it. Shampoos for dry hair often do, and are good to repair damaged hair even if it's not dry. I would highly recommend using drugstore.com to read reviews on a myriad of different products.
Also, to prevent split ends in the future, try a deep conditioning treatment and apply it once a week, or even once every two weeks, depending on how bad your hair has been damaged. I use a flat iron about three times a week on my hair, so I like to do a deep conditioning treatment about once every 10 days.

You need to get your hair cut every 6-8 weeks, depending on the length. Then you need to look at the types of products you are using. If you are using generic (or very less expensive) brands, then you really need to switch to a better product. Also, what are you doing to your hair? Do you blow dry a lot, flat iron, etc. All those harsh things can cause your hair to get damaged faster. Try Restoratives from Pantene. It's supposed to help strengthen and condition your hair in like the first week or so.

First, you need to get the split ends cut off as no shampoo or conditions will ever get rid of them and then cut down on heat related products .. use a good, light conditioner and a protective hair care product prior to drying or straightening

First off, go get your hair trimmed, and then I would recommend Pantene shampoo and conditioner, rotate between moisture and strength building. That's what I do, and I've never had the problem again. That's with me dyeing my hair every 6 weeks also!

You can't fix split ends. Get them trimmed before they split all the way up the hair shaft and you have to cut your hair a lot.
Regular trims keep split ends at bay.
Moisturizing shampoo/conditioner is your best bet in my opinion to keep split ends from happening. Also avoid heat styling as much as you can, and deep condition 1-2x/week in the shower. But for the split ends you have, you'll need to cut them... there's no fixing them.

go to the hairdresser, and get your split ends cut off, this is healthy for your hair.
ask your hairdresser for any tips or advice on dealing with split ends, but these are some tips:
-use a strengthing shampoo, i recommend pantene pro-v.
-dont dry your hair out with irons of any kind, unless you put a protective cream or spray in your hair.
-get your hair cut every 6 weeks, it will help your hair stay healthy and fresh. well actually its supposed to be every month, but i personally dont do that because i dont need to go that often.
good luck!

all the shampoos and conditioners wont help if you dont get your hair trimmed at least once a month till it is healthy and it could be caused by the type of comb or brush you use.

I am a hairdresser and I am afraid the only way to get rid of split ends is to have them cut off
