If you didn't speak to the manager as soon as the haircut had finished, you are unlikely to get any compensation. You had to give them reasonable opportunity to fix the problem, and if you didn't complain at the time, you didn't do that.

What do you mean by compensation? If you want your money back, that definitely won't happen, as your stylist expects you to voice your opinion at the time of the haircut. There might have been something that he/she could do to make it more to your liking.
However, the only compensation you can get now is to not go back to that stylist, especially if they didn't listen to you at all. That's the worst, and in that case, I understand why you didn't say anything at the time.
If you're brave, you could always go back and nicely explain that you don't really like the cut, and see if there's anything they can do for you. If they run a good business, they won't charge you.
But hang in there. I've been in the bad haircut boat a few times, and it's horrible. I invested a lot of time and money in headbands and hats at that point. Just remember that hair grows back and in the meantime, find a better stylist if need be. You should always go to one that has a good rep. with people you know (as long as you like their hair, of course).

Take a picture(if it is really a bad haircut) take it too your solicitor, who will then write to the company and ask for compensation or threaten them with taking them to a small claims court, they should then give you your money back and give you an offer, if it was a trainee that cut your hair, you would have been made aware of this before your hair was cut, then it would be off your own back (as to say) if you wanted it cut and you wouldn't have a leg to stand on

okm like every thing else in life you are entitled to a refund! what you have to do is call the hairdresser or the manager and explain that you didnt want to make a big deal there and then about it! say you would like a refund! and you want them to meet the costs of the sorting it! they more then likely will offer to sort it and there salon if you feel uncomfortable with this say you get it done else where and send them the bill with the recepit!
just remeber this is an everyday thing for salon not everyone likes what they get! but if give the salon the chance theyll sort it for you cause they do not want a bad reputation!
GOOD LUCK!

What you can do (and should do) is talk to the owner or manager of the salon and tell him/her that you are not pleased with the cut and they should remedy the problem. If possible, ask if they can fix it- maybe another stylist can do it there if you feel uncomfortable seeing the same person that botched it the first time. If they care about their reputation, they should be more than willing to make the customer happy.

If you didn't like the hair cut you should have said so when it was done!! And refused to pay or ask to have someone else in the salon fix it right for you!! You can't receive compensation though I am afraid!!

First, How long ago was it? They need to know that they did a bad job, So go back and let them know. You can ask for your money back, but allot of places won't. But they might fix the haircut for you if you allow.

How long ago was it? If it was within a couple days go back there, explain, and ask for your money back. They should do it for you. If it's fixable then ask them to fix it for free. If you're not comfortable that the stylist who botched your hair in the first place can fix it, ask for another stylist. Don't be rude but be firm. Good luck!
