Where can you get highlights that are washable?

I have brown hair and I want blondish looking high lights. Where is the best place in Union, NJ to get them?

I have to ask what you mean by washable? Highlights aren't something that only lasts for 6-12 washes. It strips the color out of your hair. Even when you try to go back to the natural color it takes a while because it actually has to grow back. You can darken highlights, but you have to keep doing it, and you will be able to tell where they were until your hair has grown out. As for the best place to get it done in NJ, I have no idea. I don't live there. Funny, when you said washable I automatically thought of the old Suave shampoo that after a few times of washing your hair, you had highlights. I can't remember what was in it, but it worked. I used it.

When going blonde you are typically bleaching your hair in some sort of fashion, no matter what dye your using. You will not be able to find a dye that will lighten your hair that you can just wash out. All types of highlighting kits are available but they will be permanent. You can go with a permanent highlight and then later dye your hair a darker color to remove the highlight apperance. This can be really tricky because various things can happen when mixing dyes like this, so I would suggest you head to the nearest beauty shop!

To go lighter you would have to bleach. You can't lift color with color, sorry.
