blonde or dark brown hair,i asked some of my friends and they said i would look good with dark brown and right now i have blonde highlights and i dont really like them.Also my mom wont let me get my hair dark brown.

my hair poofs when i let it dry by itself.

i got it perm and everything but it still poof.
i also got it layered.

anyone know what to do?

I have thick black poofy curly hair! I don't know what to do with my hair! If I keep it long, it annoys me! So, I cut it short and layered so it would look thinner, but its still thick! I dont have time to straighten my hair every day and i dont want to damage my hair! I tried temporarily straightening ( it stayed for a couple of weeks)it but it didn't work that great!

I don't know what to do!

What should i do!?!

I need help with my side swept bangs. They won't stay where i want them to. I've used hairspray, gel, mousse, clips, everything. I can't part them very far over and i always have flyaways.

If a hairdresser works out of his/her home and I visit and receive services should I tip the hairdresser. If I do tip do I tip the same as I would ina salon (20%) or less?

I was thinning real badly a year ago then I started using this olive oil grease and I started sleeping earlier and a year later my hair grew back.. Is this a conquendence or is it the grease? What other factors can contribute to this growth.?. Im just amazed

im naturally blond but for the last couple of years iv dyed my hair red. my sister wants it to be blonde at her wedding, but i dont want to let it grow out because my hairs quite long so it will take a long time, and i love the red colour. is there any way i can dye it back to blonde for a couple of months next year, then dye it back, without it going a strange colour?

Ok i just bought some semi-permanent hair color, and i know it says it stays in for weeks, and it doesnt bleed when water hits it(right??), but what about heat from a flat iron??
I HAVE to use a flat iron every morning. Or my hair looks like crap. blah. Will it all bleed off on the flat iron??

I play a sport, so therefore I have to wash my hair on a daily basis. All this washing and tying my hair up in ponytails is causing me to lose a lot of hair and thinning my hair at the top of my head. How do I keep from losing so much hair? I have done every thing i can do get my hair moisturized so i can leaxe it out curly. Ive used only a liitke shamppo so that the acids in it wont dry my hair, i use conditioner and put in leave in conditioner,ive tird a hot oil treatment, putting olive oil in my hair, but nothing works!!!!i always have to straighten my hair because there is no way i can leave it out and theres no way im gonaa get braids cuz i had braids ever since i was 12 and i hate straightnening my hair because its damaging.
