why dont you keep it red...but put some blonde hilites in it...that way you can satisfy your sister...however your sister should be happy just to have you in her wedding and not be so picky as to what color your hair is...I would keep the red...but throw in some blonde hilites in it...that way it wont be so hard to dye it back to the red when the wedding is over...try it

even tho you are a natural blond, your hair is not natural anymore!! It is chemically treated and with one of the harshes color that there is to get out RED, it's the fastest to fade, but hardest to get all the way out!! So if you do defiantly go to a professional and you should go to a upscale salon where there training is current, or you could be safer and use the wig for the one time. But the red will have to be bleached out and the blond be put back in!! It's not very easy and it will be expensive because it 's a corrective color!! Think about a human hair wig or the wedding it will be cheaper in the long run and healthier!!

Go to a profession and ask them to strip your hair and dye it blonde. The chemicals they will use on your hair will be harsh though so for the next year care for it like your life depended on it! Othere than that everything should be fine. Just dont go dye it over top of the red because it will turn copper or you will have bad red bits in your hair. Good luck!

Ok girly, red is VERY hard to get out, even though it is the fastest to fade! You need to go and get it don't by pros who will probably bleach it. If you do this, deep condtion your hair after words at least once a week for 4 weeks before going back to your red locks! I love red too and have it myself, but when dealing with blond vs. red, it's best to leave it to the pros so we don't have pink, orange or some other aweful colur for you the wedding! Good luck!

I have the perfect solution. My hair is naturally brown but for the last 2 years I've worn it black, but I wanted to wear it red but had no clue how to get the black out.Anyway, Walgreen's sells this stuff that takes the coloring out of your hair and takes it to whatever your lightest color was(natural or not).So there is no need to dye your hair blond, just used the"color stripper",then dye your hair back to red and have the original red color you had before.

I am a hairdressor and I think you should keep your Red Hair. You can lighten it back to blonde but you will dry out your hair and if you like your long hair why damage your hair just because your sister wants your hair another color. If you are going to do it please go to a hairdressor or you may end up with a total mess.

You might have to go to a salon to strip the color out. We used to do that in beauty school. Sometimes can be damaging depending on your hair. Good luck

first of all color does not lift color!!!! maybe you should get some highlites and you can be blonde and red for the wedding and then after you can color it back!!! red is hard to get off so be careful- go to a salon for this!!

you can do "semi permantent hair dye"
that only lasts for 2-4 weeks
or you could have healthy hair and dye it to ur natural colorso u could stop dying it.
its bad to dye ur hair anyways.

You could always strip it first then go back to to the red later but personally I change my color when ever I feel like it and have never had a werid color come out on my head.
