Can I do liberty spikes?

I have maybe 5 inch long hair, and max hold hairspray, hair gel, and a flat iron. Can I possibly do liberty spikes? How?

If you want them to last a lot longer just use the ol' Elmer's Clue trick. But you can also use egg whites for stiffness. To create the spikes add the product you're using to dry hair. Then starting in the back, blow dry on high in the direction you want the spike to face. Form the spike as it hardens. Hope this helps.
