Well it depends on your hair, getting a perm with dry out a lot of your hair, so make sure its not dry/dead to start with...thin hair might not look as good permed as long hair too.

I wouldnt get the whole, tiny ringlets...those arent as pretty as the big rings, depending on your length of hair.

A volumizing (big big big perm rods) might not be terrible. All in all, I think perms are almost always a bad idea. It's a better idea to find ways to work with what you have.
Plus, it's really bad on your hair's chemistry.

no...i got a perm and it looked horrible on me. besides, perms make your hair reek for a few days after getting it. and if you don't like it, you just have to wait until it completely straightens out on its own - which can take a few years! take it from someone who knows.

if you have pretty hair, i wouldn't go ruining it with the perm. i used to perm my hair all the time and regretted it in the end.

Hi

Id say no for a few reasons.

1.It damages your hair loads

2.You hair can go frizzy from a perm

3.It grows out and then looks a mess and the only way to get rid of it is to grow it our fully...

4.Its not in fashion.

5.It doesnt suit most people.

No, if they botch it then your hair is screwed. The chemicals are very harsh and fry your hair. It'll be harder to comb/manage.
