hey,I'm looking 4 not-too-short edgy hair cuts, sort of like a razor-cut type.

based on ur own personal experience or the experience of someone u know personally, there have been alot of bad reports of ppl's chi's breaking. anyone who has had a chi for a long time can u plz say how long urs has lasted or if anything has gone wrong with it (example.. "i had it a month and it broke" or "ive had it 3 years and its still like brand new" ect)

also did it keep ur hair nice all day? like at the end of the day did it look like u had just straightned it.

Im thinking of getting highlights. I have black hair, now in layers. I have side bangs too. The longest part of my layers goes upto is about 3 inches past my shoulders. Tannish olive skin if it helps any. What color would be good for me? Should I even get highlights? And what are lowlights?

I'm a girl and usually put my hair spiky..but I'm tired of using the same hairstyle over and over again. Right now, I could barely spike it up because it's getting longer. When I don't put gel, my hair looks messed up. What should I do? This is how my hair looks right now..

what kind of gel, wax or sprays should I use? I use Garnier Fructis Style Fiber Gum and Garnier Full Control Hairspray. Sometimes I think of straightening it, but my straightener doesn't work well and it takes a lot of time for me.

There is a picture of Salma from Ugly Betty and her hair is down, straight but flicked out at the ends and I love it! I am going to a party soon and I really want it like that. I dyed my hair permenent black about a month ago but it is already starting to fade. I first of all looked at the instructions on the packet to see if it said anything about fading colour but all the advice given was on treating 'regrowth'. I considered dying all my hair again with the same colour but wondered if that could damage it.

I wash my hair every day/ everyother day. I washed my hair this morning, and it was itch all day. I can't be my shampoo because before when I was using it, my scalp was fine.I know it's not lice and if its dandruff, i have been using Head & Shoulderes. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

I have a natural long, wavy hair and i need to straighten it everytime i am going to see my boyfriend. (Of course, every girl doesn't want to look less than perfect when meeting their guy)

Anyway, as part of my change one thing policy...i am considering a new hairstyle.
I have jet black hair, an oval or round-shape face,almond-shaped eyes and have a not-so-tannish complexion as i am asian.
Can anyone here suggest me what kind of hairstyle would suit me as well as a haircolor.
A hairstylist will be helpful to answer my questions.

do razor cuts usually cost more than regular hair cuts? i went to a salon and got my hair done and she insisted on doing a razor cut it would give me more definition she says my hair looked great but at the end my total was $ 130.00 she charged me 55.00 to style it and 60.00 to do the razor cut (and 15 to condition it i didn't even ask for that) is this the normal rate either was im never going their again my hair is short i've never paid more than 80 bucks to get it wash cut and styled and it still looked good
