Lay off the head and shoulders for a while. It may be drying you out. Try just the regular shampoo. If you use the dandruff stuff when you don't really need it it will dry out your scalp. That might be it. I know my brother did that. Finally I had him switch to regular shampoo. And I, myself, was using shampoo that was for a certain condition, I think for dry hair, anyway, it turned out that it was dry skin not dandruff. So in using the stuff I was drying my scalp out even more. Use normal shampoo and leave out the head and shoulders and see what happens.

If you are sure it is not lice than yes it could be severe dandruff and you might want to try a dandruff shampoo with a mosturizing agent iin it or it could be ciriosis (not sure how to spell) which is simply extremely dry scalp and they have special shampoos out there for that as well

It may be that you are not rinsing the soap from your scalp. As it dries, it would cause your scalp to itch. You also may be washing your hair too much. Try every third day for about two weeks, and rinse thoroughly.

go into the shower again and try just conditioning it. Maybe you didnt get all the shampoo out. COnditioner will help with that and possibly soothe the itching. If that doesnt help I don't now what to tell you except you might be having an allergic reaction to something.

Make sure you rinse out all of your shampoo and conditioner, just in case there are some dry flakes left over. And use conditioner if you aren't already. Try the Hello Hydration line from Herbal Essences.

How do you know its not lice? Lice like clean hair more than dirty hair. After getting checked out by your doctor go to the store and get mousturizing shampoo.

You may have a severe case of dandruff. It's winter season, you'll have that. If you are really worried something may be wrong, you may want to see your doctor. Don't worry. I've been through it before and I'm sure many other people have too.

you might not have dandruff. but you might have dried scalp.
it's called psoriasis. or even seborrheic dermatitis. Both can make your head itch. It's also not good to use a dandruff shampoo on a daily basis 3 times aweek at most . .

confident, confident confident!!! What are you thinking?? Come on, use some easy experience -- do the guidelines say to depart it in or to rinse it out? Why do you think of they say that? There are some which you would be able to depart on; they're extra like ending/smoothening rinses, yet it extremely is how they're designed. something you place on your hair and depart on could have an result on your hair. in specific circumstances you decide on the extra desirable stiffness from the gels or mousses, and that's positive -- that's what they're made for. yet dissimilar the 'conditioners' you have are oils and waxes -- which will basically make your hair greasy and limp and allure to extra airborne dirt and dirt. a number of them will cake on and dry starting to be flakes which will possibly not somewhat look very appealing in any respect. whilst they say to rinse out, all you decide directly to depart on the hair is a skinny action picture that may not overwhelm the hair, or allure to too lots dirt. slightly is powerful, too lots is undesirable. For terrific consequences, you will choose to have sparkling, healthful hair and not making use of dissimilar junk on it. in case you will use a conditioner, use something it extremely is actual going to do something for you. Please stick to guidelines for use.
