based on ur own personal experience or the experience of someone u know personally, there have been alot of bad reports of ppl's chi's breaking. anyone who has had a chi for a long time can u plz say how long urs has lasted or if anything has gone wrong with it (example.. "i had it a month and it broke" or "ive had it 3 years and its still like brand new" ect)

also did it keep ur hair nice all day? like at the end of the day did it look like u had just straightned it.

thanx xxx

I work in a salon, and believe me I have gone through my fair share of blowdryers. I have a chi and many of my coworkers also have chi dryers. The one girl I work with has had hers for more than 2 years. Also, if you purchase one FROM A SALON, not on the internet, there is a one year warranty. As for flat irons, the paul mitchell ones are really nice and probally a little cheaper then the chis.

I had my chi a year before it broke--but that's just because I had it in europe and I tried to plug it in there and that totally messed it up. I still have the warranty so I'm getting another one. And yes, they do keep your hair straight and very soft and shiny for DAYS. Much better than any other straightener I've ever used.

im sorry ,but what exactly are you talking about...a hair dryer,or a a flat iron?

if its a hair dryer ill suggest you to leave chi and look for parlux ,in my opinion those are the best professional dryers..

and in case of a flat iron i have the "thermo professional ceramic" by "mister"
ive bought it 5 yrs ago and its still perfect!

i was going to buy the curling iron by chi since my salon use those products but when i was checking ,i found that some says that are not good,or not worth the money..!

My chi has worked fine since birth. Although I do get sick some times so I guess the chi is not flowing so well then although it usually corrects itself again.

To my knowledge if your chi has broken you must be very sick indeed.

older ones are better, cause the new ones they make them to break easy so you keep buying.......
