Get a cut or trim that is the only way your hair will look great! Then keep your hair healthy by using a moisturizing conditioner just on the ends of hair if that is the only place it is needed.a cut isn't a bad thing!

I would definetly say you need a trim first. The breakage is already there. You cant really repair breakage just prevent it from continuing. I had long hair that had breakage/split ends and got ten inches cut off yesterday. I want it to grow back healthy. Im not saying you need to cut that much...lol..I know that that is extreme...but just get a trim...and then get some hot oil treatments...(you can buy it at Sally's beauty supply)or a really good conditioner...

First trim your hair up (just a little if you like the lenght) then go by some Paul Mitchell hair stuff read on it to see if it helps for breakage (there should be a kind) then massage it in your hair once or twice a week.

How often do you have it trimmed? Trimming long hair every six weeks will prevent that breakage and promote healthy hair. Because you already have breakage, I would suggest getting one inch cut all over, and then, just trimmed every six weeks thereafter.

I would trim your hair cuz that would make it grow faster. Your hair is growing slower now cuz of the split ends. You want healthy hair, but it can still be long. Leave in conditioner works great too. Just look in the hair isle at any store. Good luck.
