There is a picture of Salma from Ugly Betty and her hair is down, straight but flicked out at the ends and I love it! I am going to a party soon and I really want it like that. My hair is the same colour and about that length. What is the best way of getting my hair like that? She is a stunning woman. Any tips are helpful :) Thanks

straighten your hair but when you get to the ends, pull it out so it flips out. use some body conditioner, too. have a good time at the party!

Well there are a few options on how to get your hair like that.
1) Go to a stylist to get it done professionally.
2) Curl you hair yourself with a set of curlers (loose curls though).
3) When you have just wet your hair, do several french plats in it, while it is still wet, and leave it to dry over night; then put some mousse and hairspray in it to keep the curls.
4) This is a very old technique used to get curls, but when your hair is damp, you wrap section of it within toilet paper (clean not used) and then use clips to hold it in place; yes I know this sounds weird, but then you leave you hair to dry and then remove the clips and unravel your hair from the toilet paper. Then once that is done you should have some beautiful curls, but to make sure they stay use a small amount of hairspray.
