I am going to get a haircut in a couple days and need help. How do I ask for a haircut like this (minus the bangs):
http://www.hairfinder.com/haircollections/swish-3.htm
and bangs like this (minus the haircut):
http://www.4hairstyles.com/short/bangs/8.htm
I mean, are there any specific terms I can use so that my stylist knows exactly what I am asking for.
I do plan on bringing these pictures in, I just don't want any misunderstandings.

Okay people, if you read the whole question I already said I AM GOING TO BRING THE PICTURES IN WITH ME. I was just asking for any words I could use in describing what I want done.

first off i want to thank you for the 2 cool websites im always looking for new ones for hair . ok the first one the blond it is long layers , in the back just below the shoulders , scooped out in the back so it looks like a bob but leave the length and it is piecey, the front and sides are also like a bob but with layers , the second picture is side swept bangs you will need to tell the sylist which direction you want them to go, your selection go very well together . dont make it complicated tell the stylist what you want so you understand yourself and she gets it to.

Don't bother using terminology... just bring in the pictures. That'll make things so much easier than trying to explain because the stylist may not fully understand what you are looking for. :)

No specific terms that I know of. Your best bet is to bring in the pictures and tell her just what you've stated here.

Face framing Layers and Side bangs. I would also print the pics and show them!

you would say, "I want side swept bangs longer than the eye, and razored layers starting at shoulder length.
