Hair - March 2007

yesterday my hairdresser said it has got much worse and I really need to protect it.
Can anyone recommend a good protector, like a spray to use before or something, that isnt too expensive?

I know how to do extensions on my hair already, but when it comes to creating the cute straight bangs, i don't know how to do that. I bond weave, and so I do not know where I should start applying the wefts(tracks) of hair. help please

had my fringe trimmed yesterday and now its to short. what can i do?

My hair gets very oily/greasy during the day. I have to wash it everyday or else if I dont it feels really nasty and looks greasy (cuz it is). I tried the other day to just use conditioner on the ends of my hair// and I used a spray leave in conditioner but they both made my hair really staticy. What should I do to get soft, ungreasy, beautiful hair, that I can still wash everyday?

I wanted to get golden brown highlights for my black hair and i heard henna is the safest and nondamaging to your hair. Is that true? And does henna come in golden brown. Also what color highlights would be best for someone whos dark skinned, not that dark, and has black hair?

I have horrible split ends and a hair cut can fix it, but how do i keep them from coming back.i no straightning it doesn't help but nasty kinky freeky werid curls are not an option

I dyed my hair Live Colour Blackest Black, they don't come darker than that. It wasn't going to come out itself, although after each wash I noticed it was getting duller, I prefered the intense black. Then I realised I looked more like a junkie than Elizabeth Taylor so I wanted my brown hair back.

I used Pantene Clarifying shampoo (its a clear bottle, not many shops have it but Boots does), in one and a half weeks my hair is back to brown , now that it is getting lighter I started using John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette and my hair has never been a better colour.

I know it isn't a question but so many people ask this question on here thought I would help you people out. To think that people told me to go to a hairdreser and have bleach bath costing me £140!! This cost £1.69!!!!

my hair is naturally ginger? it has been died dark fro about 4 years now, i really regret it and want to go back.
i dont want to let it grow back as its a long process and will look awful.
Can i die it back ginger ontop of the dark brown hair dye?
does hair dye stripper work? and does it damage hair as much as people say it does?
what is my best option?

I usually just let it airdry with conditioner in it for protection and then flat iron it after its dry.. i am mixed with black by the way so my hair is curly with some kinks.
