My hair gets very oily/greasy during the day. I have to wash it everyday or else if I dont it feels really nasty and looks greasy (cuz it is). I tried the other day to just use conditioner on the ends of my hair// and I used a spray leave in conditioner but they both made my hair really staticy. What should I do to get soft, ungreasy, beautiful hair, that I can still wash everyday?

So here's the deal, haircare isn't as easy as people want it to be. It's not just about the shampoo and conditioner, it your whole lifestyle. It might be hardwork, but your hair and how you take care of it is not only a reflection of your over health, but your style and how much you care about your appearance (and thus yourself). If you have a balanced diet, meaning low sugar, whole grain carbs, and lots of fruits and vegetables, and drink a lot of water, you're a lot closer to healthy hair. Exercise is gonna help balance things out a lot too! Sleeping is really important too, too little sleep can really mess things up. Also, everyone needs to take vitamins, and there are some particular vitamins you want to look for in haircare. One is called biotin, and one is called pantothenic acid. Emotional health is another thing to look into, stress and depression can really take a toll on your hair! Finally we have to get to physcially dealing with the hair. Hair is sensitive, which means a reallly hot shower is a bad idea. A luke warm shower is best for both skin and hair, and will help your overall apperance. When you wash your hair, invest in quality products, if you want your hair to look great, don't get the cheapest thing in the world. Freddic Frekkai is my personal favorite, but Nexxus Photobiotics is a good middle ground for cost/quality. Oh, and when your hair is wet, don't towel dry it or comb it. hair is at it's most vulnerable state when wet, and most of it's damage happens when it's wet. Touch it gingerly. And if you have to style it, cool down on the product as they either add grease and attract dirt and or dry out the hair, and the heat styling. Use something more gentle like leave-in conditioner or pomade. If you need to iron or blowdry in order to change the shape, pick the blowdrying. It looks better because the hair has more body and skin, and there is not direct contact to the hair.

There are shampoos/conditioners that help with greasy hair. I use dandruff shampoo with Suave conditioner. The dandruff shampoo takes grease out of your hair. I also wet my hair with warm water and rinse with cold. I used to have the same exact problem as you, but now I don't after I started doing this every night. My hair is never greasy anymore!

Also, instead of applying conditioner to your roots right away, start at the tips and work your way up. Your hair at the roots is greasy enough, so you don't need to condition there as much.

I would suggest using Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner.
I have the same problem. A leave in conditioner will make your hair look and fell more greasy that it is. I have dyed hair so I used the color care but they have a whole line for different hair types. This is the only shampoo and conditioner that I have found for my hair and I have tried many many brands. Hope this helps.

Maybe try to use a combo shampoo/conditioner. My wife sometimes would have the same problem and she seems to be having luck with the "Pantene" products line. DON'T use that leave-in stuff, that will of course leave your hair greasy.

Grease and oil are your physique's way of attempting to hydrate your dry pores and skin. attempt getting some type of deep conditioner, or attempt switching up your shampoo and conditioner. in spite of you do, do no longer bypass the conditioner. merely utilising shampoo interior the mornings will dry your scalp and hair and make your difficulty worse. sturdy success!
