Try rinsing your hair in apple cider vinegar. You don't have to use it every day, instead, about once or twice a week. When you are about to get into the shower, get a little Dixie cup and fill about have to 3/4 of the way full (depending on how thick your hair is) and put it in the shower. After you rinse your shampoo out, and before you condition, pour the vinegar onto your hair. Yes, it will smell pretty darn horrible, but you'll be glad you did after you get out of the shower and start brushing and drying your hair. It's amazing! Your hair will feel and look so much more sleek and smooth and will be much more manageable. I think that the vinegar even helps with spit ends because I've been using it for a few weeks and I've noticed a difference in my split ends. I straighten my hair almost every day because of all the FRIZZZ in my hair and it gives me pretty bad split ends, but now I think the vinegar is really helping.

Try it out. If you don't like it, then you'll only be out about forty cents. Vinegar's super cheap.

1. For dry curly hair its super important to buy good shampoo and conditioner from a salon. Products from the grocery store just wont cut it for girls like us with lots of breaking. Try Sleek Look. It's the bomb, but its important to switch it up every now and then because your hair will become immune to a product after a while of using it.

2. If you're going to straight iron your hair you should really try to stay away from any kind of coloring or highlighting, once you get the dye out of your hair the split ends really clear up.

3. A good leave in conditioner is essential!... I've used Biolage Energizing leave-in tonic and it works well, but i just started using S factor Papaya leave-in moisture spay and smoothing Lusterizer and they are both awesome. Make sure to apply a lot to the ends.

4. The most important thing to remember is before using a flat iron you have to put some kind of product on your hair. This makes it so the heat burns the product NOT your hair.

Alright girl good luck taming those curls, but you should also learn to love them...having curls gives you tons of options with different styles.

first get a haircut to trim the ends. tell the person cutting your hair that you want a trim. this way you have clean ends to work with. then get s shampoo and conditioner that has moustierizers in it to keep your hair fuller. this will prevent spliting and if you straigthen your hair either stop or get a cream protector for your hair to protect it from the heat.
