Hair - March 2007

I recently dyed my hair using Feria. I don't like the color that it turned out as, and my hair dresser told me that because it was Feria, that it wasn't possible to strip the color out. She said I could use liquid tide to down it down...I was wondering if anybody knows anything about how to do this and also what the effects would be...thanks

I have wavy hair and it's such a bother to straighten it, so if you've used the stuff you do at home I'd like advice or whatever. Does it make your hair dry and nasty? One of my friends used it and her hair looks fabulous, and it would really be sweet if I didn't have to straighten my hair as often. Thanks!

and i know my mom wont take me to the salon for a trim so can i put oil to make my hair shine at the tips so it wont look dry? or will that make it worse? cuz the tips look dry and i have an oil that makes your hair shine help? what do you recommend

ok, so, i heard the bikini wax is worth it, but, i have never had any waxing, not even my face, i have really really light body/facial hair. I have a short bob that I used to get shaved in the back. During Thanksgiving '06, I went to the stylist I wanted to put the weave in and she told me my hair was too short in the back. So, I haven't shaved the back since than (~3.5 months). You can tell where my bob stops and the unshaved hair has grown. In fact it looks kind of weird. About an inch in a half has grown. Will the stylist be able to cornrow my hair even though I definitely still have a bob that's above my neckline although there's now some hair back there? Also, I would go to the stylist and ask but I live 600 miles away from where I want it done. (I'm in college and I prefer to go somewhere near home where I know that the weave will look on point since is the first time I'm getting a weave.)
