I have tried some of the temporary mousse dyes that are supposed to dye dark brown/black hair, but they never work. I want to die my hair violet.

is it dreadlocks or just twists? How would I get them to stay twisted?

I am getting my hair highlighted (Brown hair, blonde highlights) tommrrow and I am afraid that:
A. I won't like it
B. People will thinking I am trying to copy my close friend (Her hair is brown like mine and hers is highlighted, but my hair is curly and hers is straight.)
C. Everyone will hate it! (Even though I try not to care what poeple think I still don't want everyone to hate it)

Can someone plase reassure me or tell my what happened when they dyed their hair?

I have curly dark brown (almost black) hair. I was thinking about something like lemon juice, but I dont want my hair to dry out and break. I live in hawaii and am in the ocean a lot so the salt water is kind of rough on my hair already..I also dont want orange hair..:)

I have loose, spiral curls that tend to be dry and frizzy, and I was wondering:
a) Is there a way to make them into loose waves without having to kill my hair with a straightening iron?
b) Garnier Fructis doesn't sell Surf Hair products in any of the stores I go to. Is there any other way to get texturized beach hair?

I recently dyed my hair from its natural color (extreamly light blonde, close to platinum to a light brown with honey highlites.

Im wondering what shampoo and condition would be good for my colored hair? I was told by the salon to wash it every two days, and to try to find a very good conditioner because I blow and straighten it almost daily. Help?

i straighten my hair everyonce in a while, it is pretty curly, but i always straighten it the night before and when i wake up in the morning it is crazy. does anyone know a good way to preserve it?

p.s. i have a pretty expensive iron too, so i dont think its that

i hav tried millions of shampoos and conditioners and nothing seems 2 work ! ! ! ! my hair gets really big and frizzy/puffy after i wash it (wen its dry of course ) and i'v tried a lot of shampoos that giv u frizz free hair but it doesnt seem to help !

I have heard numerous times that you are not supposed to wash curly hair every day - and to wash it only a few times a week! I have tried it, and my hair does not get greasy but after sleeping on it I wake up and my curls are all deformed, or it'll get tangles in the back and it becomes frizzy.
So, how can you have curly hair and not wash it every day without it looking all disheaveled in the morning?!
I have tried spraying it with water in the morning and "reshaping" the curls but to no avail. It'll still look flat on top and frizzy...

I have blonde hair (or should I say used to) and for some reason my hair is turning dark brown, even though I have naturally blonde hair...and it's making my hair look all greasy and stuff, when it really isn't, and I hate it!!! Is there anything I can do to avoid or do something about this?

Please don't say, "dye your hair" cuz I'm not gonna do that.
