It looks really bad! and my self confidence level is down to zero! please let me know how i can make it better and how long it takes for them to grow back out!

about three months for them to look decent, try using bobbi pins

Hair grows about 1/2 inch a month for most people. I don't know you're hairsyle but maybe you could barette them on the side or do little twists back with baby barettes until they grow a bit

And please tell me you are joking about a bangs cut affecting your confidence . . .
That would be so lame , since self confidence is based on personality . . .
If a bang cut did you in, it means you have wasted your life focusing it all on looks and have NO personality !
Get in a real mode, get a personality . . . no one really gives much of a thought to others looks , especially something soooooo trivial as bangs.
You need a life, not bangs . . . get one !

That happened to me too, don't worry. They will be longer within a few weeks. Sometimes, after you get your hair cut, its in "shock" and seems shorter. Once your hair has some time to settle, it will relax and appear to be longer.
