I dyed my hair Live Colour Blackest Black, they don't come darker than that. It wasn't going to come out itself, although after each wash I noticed it was getting duller, I prefered the intense black. Then I realised I looked more like a junkie than Elizabeth Taylor so I wanted my brown hair back.

I used Pantene Clarifying shampoo (its a clear bottle, not many shops have it but Boots does), in one and a half weeks my hair is back to brown , now that it is getting lighter I started using John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette and my hair has never been a better colour.

I know it isn't a question but so many people ask this question on here thought I would help you people out. To think that people told me to go to a hairdreser and have bleach bath costing me £140!! This cost £1.69!!!!

luvlykaz- My hair dye was permanent, the darket colour on the market, Swartzkopf Live colour in Blackest Black so it should take yours out. The woman at Boots recommended it and it worked for her. The Brilliant Brunette is good because I use the clarifying shampoo first to keep getting the colour out and then shampoo it with BB then condition it and then use the BB finishing creme. It looks much better.

My hair isn't light though so don't know how it will wok for blondes, try the Pantene clarifying shampoo and then John Frieda's Blonde range in conjunction.

Hi, this works wioth any pantene shampoo and coonditioner. I recently dye my hair black and wanted my natural colour back and each time I use my pantene shampoo the colour was coming off and getting lighter. Thanks for you recommendation on usinf Brilliant brunette. I didnt know how good these are but if there good I will get some. As I dont want to have to keep going dark. I would keep on using pantene to get it out, but Its too strong for my scalp to use all the time. It just shows you how much chemicals are in them if it removes hair dye.
