Hair - March 2007

Please help I'm in a wedding on March 31 and would really like to have my blonde hair back! I have tried almost everything you cannot highlight over the red it only makes it worse and I 've also tried a bunch of different shampoos and nothing works! Does anybody know a way to get my blonde back and keep it that way while still using the well water?

Every time I get my hair colored, it never lasts. After a few days it starts to wash out and go back to its old color.

i have a lot of gray hair. I am touching up my hair about every 2-3 weeks. Before the 3 weeks is up the gray is showing again.

I have long fine hair and i wash it every 3 days. i am looking for a shampoo with less surfactant and I heard baby shampoo is gentle(mild). I was wondering is it better to use baby shampoo or regular shampoo for adults with long hair?

It's only about 1/2 in. long right now so at about and inch or longer I was going to color it a bleached blonde for summer, of course tending to the roots as it grows out. Right now it's a dark blonde, can't tell yet if it's straight or wavy. Any other ideas?

my hair is short by choice but i still wear weave to skool and thats because my hair is just too nappy and short to be wearing natural. but anyway...
the point of weave is to make yourself more presentable. i mean if i went to an art museum and had my hair undone (without weave) they'd probably mistake me for sumone's junk art.
and i really believe that if you like yo weave big and bold and beautiful ( to you) and folks can tell its weave do what you like. another point of weave. just do what you like its alright. everybody use weave these days

Hey :)
I originally have dark brown hair(almost black), n i just dyed my hair to dark orangey/reddish brown around 2 weeks ago. So now im thinking of mixing on a bright funky purple color (using Special effects product from haircrazy.com) onto my hair. Will it look good with my current hair color or should i dye the rest with jetblack/darkbrown? N i know i should bleach the part i want to put the purple on. Will it be hard to bleach according to my natural hair color n the dye i put on?

Should i dye all of my hair with black/darkbrown first, n then bleach the part i want to put the purple on?

Or should i do it individually? (bleach the some parts, dye some parts)

I have curly hair but like others have said it flattens out on top when it gets long. i really want to keep my hair length past my shoulders. when i do get a somewhat good product it weighs down my hair then too. i dont want something that turns my hair to straw. i have had that happen. any suggestions?
