It's only about 1/2 in. long right now so at about and inch or longer I was going to color it a bleached blonde for summer, of course tending to the roots as it grows out. Right now it's a dark blonde, can't tell yet if it's straight or wavy. Any other ideas?

As you may know, "Chemo Hair" is not necessarily the hair you had before it was removed. People with straight hair sometimes get curly hair after...
Unless you're uncomfortable with your looks, or the cold and wind, try going without any covering. Shaved head and very very short hair on a woman can be a very interesting look.
Further, if you don't mind my mentioning it, its a good way to bring attention to the issue of cancer.
Best of luck to you!

At this point, I would not do anything to it chemically yet. Wait until it's a good deal longer so you have a better idea of what you'll be working with. Like someone else said, post-chemo hair is not always the same as before, and it's still too short to know what it's going to do.

Why don't you get some colored spiker gel and spike it up. This wouldn't be permanent and if you wanted, you could wear a different color everyday. I have seen a lot of girls with short hair do this! It's so cute! Also, get some cute hats and beanies, every girl looks hott in a beanie. You can try many different things, from hair bows, to clips, to streaks, to extensions. You should try getting Great Lengths Hair extensions. That would look adorable, and your hair is plenty long enough.

well having it blonde is going to make it look shorter because you can't see as much, so if length is what you want, try going to more of a dirty blonde or light brown. I've seen girls with short hair spike it up, and it almost always looks really hot on them, also if you don't feel like styling your hair then just roll up a bandana and tie it around your head. Hope that helps!

The hair is not just a part of your body and it is a symbol of beauty, status and health. It is important for you to take proper care of your health in order to prevent early hair loss. Learn here https://bitly.im/aMLvk It is not a very serious problem and with a little bit of caution you will be able to prevent further hair loss. There are certain uncontrollable factors like pregnancy conditions or certain illness or genetic factors that will result in hair loss. Just be proud of the hair youv got now .Maybe wear it spiked, that would be trendy with light n dark streaks and the lighter blonde will help take the eye away from those places were you can probably still see the scalp. And maybe tie a scarfe around like you would wear a headband.or wear a trendy headband to frame your beautiful face with your hair spiked up above it.Sounds cool.

You won't like my answer, BUT I say make a statement and go BALD. I am a guy so I know as a woman you won't like this answer. BUT I stand by it. As the victim of whatever illness forced you to use chemo, you CAN make a statement about it and go bald. I myself would look up to you for taking a stance like this and SHOW THE WORLD your NOT going to let it take you over. that NOTHING will STOP you not even baldness. God Bless you and good luck either way.

First of all, congratulations at being off chemo! I would get some really cute hats...get fedoras, and bucket hats and those ones with the flipped up brim. Since its colder right now (well it is here in Canada) you could also get some really snuggly knit hats to keep you warm :)

My mother's sister who went through chemotherapy, had about a half a inch to an inch lengthed hair. She had it grown out to about two, two and a half inches, and then she had the hair stylist, layer it all out and it gave her this funky edgey look. Looked good.

Stay healthy, and goodluck. You must be a strong woman.

Wigs can irritate the scalp plenty, but they're probably your best bet because you are going through a period of transition, which means you probably shouldn't mess with artificial hair of the grafted/clip-on variety. Just my two points' worth...
