I am trying to even out a bad color experience....can I use the semi permanent dye to cover a bad dye/ highlight job??

i am freaking out right now.. i made an appointment for tomorrow to cut my hair and get highlights.. i have several questions:
1) its in eatons centre in toronto, at a pretty respectable salon, are they gonna do a good job?
2) how do i go about paying? after he is done, do i give him his tip there in cash and then go pay the rest, or just do it all at the same time?
i am really scared right now about the results...

I want to dye my hair but not the perment one only the one for like 6 weeks would i have to do that by myself or could i have my hair dresser do it...if i do it by myself can u give me tips?!~!?

I have hair just above my shoulders. Its just starting it grow out again where i had it cut into a bob. I dont want that again. i want to know what i can do with my hair that would look good. I am 13 and i have a heart shaped face. I also have hazel eyes. my hair is straigh, brown with back lowlights, and i have side sweeping bangs that come half-way down my face. I like my hair now but i am getting bored with it. What are some styles that would look good? pictures would be great but if you dont have pictures please describe the hair style. Thanks!

I don't trust myself (or my mother) with sissors.
She is very adament on cutting all my hair.
Nor do I have money for a trip to the hair place.

I curl my hair for school in the mornings and it falls out before homeroom... I hate it. Does anyone have any idea how I can curl my hair and have it stay curled all day. I'm not too fond of the hairspray being visible though. I'd like it to look normal. Jessica Simpson's hair is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.
