i have tried leamon juice and that salt stuff but they didnt really work if you have ideas that really workd for you and you have dark brown hair, or you use it all the time, please give them to me.

if they are blonde highlights, you should bleach it. it lasts longer. if it is a color, such as red, bleach your hair first, and color it.

Try a semi-permanent hair color. It will be lightest on your highlights and only slightly color your own hair if at all, plus it only lasts 8-10 shampoos so if you like it, it's only temporary.

Go to walgreens.com and look for semi-permanent or non-permanent hair colors for some ideas.

ok girl first of all i am a worker on a beauty salon i would like to say you that , its not the highlights that bring out its how you made youre highlights on youre hair , maybe you put something wrong or you used it uncorrectly , or you used something not good for youre hair , i considair you to go to a beauty salon and they will telll you all for youre hair , ! maybe you didint put lot of bleach cream

I heard that rinsing brunette hair with coffee makes it shiny and healthy looking- maybe you could try that! Try a specialized brunette shampoo, too.
