One salon I went to way overprocessed my hair and it is all breaking off. I was using redken extreme but doesn't seen to be helping - any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

All shampoos are basically the same thing! They're just marketed differently so that one will favor Brand A or Brand B.
I suggest buying a cheap shampoo and conditioner for DRY/DAMAGED hair.

I use eith Mane & Tail or Tressemme, they bith smell good.
Mans&Tail is for horses, but is also works on your hair,you can get it anywhere,it helps the stop of breakage.
