Baby shampoos are your secret weapon. They’re gentle enough to wash your hair, but they also break down all the residue that’s piled onto your hair. Use large Velcro rollers to roll hair when it’s 95 percent dry. Blowdry the rollers for 5 minutes and then spritz a salt spray to your roots to add extra body.

Use a volumizing conditioner before starightening. OR after you use your straightner, blow dry the top. OR dress your hair in a way that it doesn't look flat [like puffs etc]. OR hide it with a hat.

I am the same way! You have to get a peru hair frizz product and you get it from your hairstylist and it is about $15.00 and you let it stay on over night and th e next day it`s not FLAT!!!
