I had gotten some braids last August and I paid $200 dollars and I loved them they lasted for alomost 3 months and I got alot of compliments on them. 2 ladies from Ghana did my hair and they braid usper fast in Africa. This girl was saying "I fI were you I would have gotten it done for lesser" I don't care how much it cost. As long as they look good and they don't take mor ethan 8 hours I'm ok.

I've been thinking about purchasing a professional flat iron and the Sedu one seems to be the best rated. Most reviewers stated how great they worked on course or very curly hair. However, I have very thin and slightly wavy hair. I don't want to damage my hair or make it more thin. Does anyone w/ the same hairtype as me have any input regarding these high-end flat irons?

Every time I dye my hair blonde its very red. I started using ash tones which helps a lot, but after just a week my hair is red again! My natural color is a light brown, so I'm not going very many shades lighter. please! Does anybody have any tricks for removing the red out of hair to achieve a platinum blonde?

When u go 2 a salon they wash & then color ur hair right away. If u use an @ home kit, it always says 2 wash 24 hrs ahead of time. So the natural oils can help prevent scalp damage. So what do the hair stylists do/use thats so different? I am curious. Is it the conditioners they use?

Okay my sister has real straight hair, and it's thick-not real thick but somewhat. Her hair is layered and a little below her shoulders, not much longer though. She rolls them with sponge rollers after she gets out of the shower with her hair damp and puts them up in rollers for about 4-5 hours. How can she keep the curl for longer, for it seems like they fall out after 12 hours, or so? Also, she does hairspray when she gets them rolled up and after she lets them down. She uses gel too! Any other suggestions for rolling hair to last longer. Thanks

I have naturally curly, thick hair... So curly, that some of my family member's don't believe that I don't have a perm! haha...

Anyway, some of my friends have dared me to straighten my hair for one day, so I've decided to.

How can I go about this? Flat iron, blow dryer? And what products will I need? I'm only looking for cheap stuff that I can buy at Walmart...

Will a $10 flat iron hurt my hair?

Also, will my hair be permanently damaged? How long will it take for it to go back to curly? And how can I make it not be frizzy when I do straighten it?

Give me all the tips that you can! I'm lost, and I don't wanna hurt my hair!

My hair id breaking off only at the crown and it's irritating. When I was using Garnier Long and Strong there were no problems but since i hadn't had the money to buy it, i had to use VO5 Tea therapy. I hear that i shouldnt use pantene because it has wax..or something like that. But i would like to try their relaxed and natural breakage defense. What other shampoos help hair breakage from happening?Thank you.
