If i grow my hair, i want it just above my elbows, if i cut my hair short i want it just above my shoulders. The thing is, i don't know what would look best on me.

Quite Short
Quite thin
Pale-ish
Medium brown hair
Thick
Wavy
Brown eyes
Square-ish face

Which would look best? Short? Or long?

Ya my hair is fading from a nice bright red to a almost blond colour with a bit of red in it. The thing is I have never dyed my hair either... Could it be from lack of sunlight (it is winter) I know fading hair is common when you get older but I am only 20.

I've been having hairloss due to hypothyroidism (low thyroid) which I've been treating it for 3 mths. My doctor said it could take 1-2 yrs for the hair loss to stop completely. I've medium length hair but it's very evidently thinning and I'm "shedding" a few hundred strands a day all over my home, car & workplace. The reasons why I want to shave my head: (1) I spend too much time cleaning my home; (2) Social embarassment (e.g. hair falling in my food) (3) Spending $100 a month on cleaning supplies (lint brushes, drain declogger, etc.), would probably save money on hair products too; (4) The bald patches may get larger anyway; (5) My hair seems to grow fast (3/4" a mth); (6) I have mild acne on my scalp which could be easier to treat without hair. Other than a wig & head coverings, what repercussions, social or otherwise, should I worry about, as a 30-year old female living in a small college town with a shaved head? What should I worry about as my hair starts to grow back?

I really like the satin covered headbands that are getting popular again, only issue is, I don't like the patterns. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make my own using fabric that I pick out. At first glance, it doesn't seem like it's rocket science, but looks can be deceiving.

I am an african-american male, and I have really long hair, but it is thick, and very frizzy, but very long and I wear braids and sometimes ponytails. I purchased Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine leave in hair conditioner, and I am trying to make my hair thin out, shiny, and slick it back and lay it flat for a ponytail, I was wondering should I put the leave-in conditioner in my hair right after I shampoo it and condition it with regular conditioner while its still wet, or should I wait til' its dry? and do you think it will help slick my hair back for the shine and ponytail I want???
