I really like the satin covered headbands that are getting popular again, only issue is, I don't like the patterns. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make my own using fabric that I pick out. At first glance, it doesn't seem like it's rocket science, but looks can be deceiving.

The big problem would be finding the plastic form. What if you buy one, then pull the material off and use it as a pattern? Then you can just re-use the form for your new headband.

You can get forms at bridal shops and websites, but I don't know if they make them wide enough for what you are looking for.
