When ever I scrunch my hair I use hairspray or mouse and I take my hand and open and close my hand (the scrunching motion) all over my head. If that doesn't help here is a website about scrunching hair. I hope that this helps you and good luck!

I used to scrunch my hair everyday, and still would if i had'nt got it cut lol!!!
(steps listed)
1)Before you being this process make sure you hair is wet, but not so wet that water drips from.
2) Take either liquid fiber (very good hold and flexibility) or you can you a hair gel with a stong hold, use about a quarter size of what ever prouduct you chose to use and rub it throught your hair. Dont run your fingers straight through your hair when doing this cuz this will only make your hair straight, so you need to pinch sections of your hair with the gel and shake your head to increase the flexibility.
3) Then take hair spray, make sure you dont spray it too close to your head otherwise your hair will be very chrunchy and not move at all and it will look like you have dandruff from the built up of hair spray, after you made sure you sprayed every inch of your hair scrounch it with your fingers like i said in step 2.
4) After you applied the hairspray take your blow dryer and turn it on high and the maximum heat setting, dont blow dry your hair in up and down strokes, instead scrunch your hair with one hand as blowdrying and aim the blowdryer on the section making the shape of a circle this will make sure the scrunching stays, because it drys the gel and hairspray and locks in your style.
5) scruch till desired look is achived, if perhaps you finish blow drying and your hair doesnt seem to be as scrunched as you inteended repeat steps 3-4.
Hope this works for you, it really worked for me and it only take 15-20 minutes tops

Start by wetting your hair, and put moose in it and srunch your hair with your hand. (do this before you go to bed) Then put your hair in a bun and place it on the top of your head. The next morning take it down and it should be pretty scrunched. Add more moose or products if needed. Then to stlye it I would take a few pieces of hair and clip them on the back of your head with a clip. Good luck!

Get your hair semi-dry, then apply some mousse. Scrunch it back with your fingers as you dry your hair with a hair dryer, do not comb it out. When you're done, maybe use some wax to keep it in shape.
Should be easier for you since your hair is already semi-wavy.

While hair is still damp and uncombed (after shower) apply frizz serum (if yours tends to be frizzy), then allow to semi-air-dry. Now, spray Loreal Pumping Curls all over head, flip hair over (head down) and start scrunching up. Flip back over and play with hair a little, twirling pieces around fingers. Let air-dry, or if you're in a hurry, blow dry on low heat continuing to scrunch with hands.
