Okay my sister has real straight hair, and it's thick-not real thick but somewhat. Her hair is layered and a little below her shoulders, not much longer though. She rolls them with sponge rollers after she gets out of the shower with her hair damp and puts them up in rollers for about 4-5 hours. How can she keep the curl for longer, for it seems like they fall out after 12 hours, or so? Also, she does hairspray when she gets them rolled up and after she lets them down. She uses gel too! Any other suggestions for rolling hair to last longer. Thanks

I agree.....12 hours is a really long time for hair to hold a curl. If you want them to last even longer, I would try spraying the entire strand of hair with hairspray before rolling it up, then let it dry completely that way. After unrolling, don't brush the hair but run your fingers through it and arrange the curls the way you want them. Then spray again with firm hold hairspray. When you go to bed, pull your hair onto the top of your head and tie it into a pony tail with a scrunchie. When you wake up you might not have actual curls but you will have lots of volume and shape. Hang your head upside down and spray again with hairspray, let dry for a moment before flipping your head up, and you're good to go. Good luck!

12 hours is a really long time to keep curls in. I'm not sure why you want them to last any longer. She can carry portable hot curlers with her to touch up during the day.

a mixture of beer, mayonaise, coffee, salted lemon juice, hairspray, gel, mouse, hairsprits, oil, conditioner, monkey pee and mistolin to kill the monkey pee smell. Then curl it with a curling iron, roll it up rollers, stick a wet finger in an electric sockett, then work at the marriott as a front desk clerk for 20hrs straight, mocansangween to steam them dry then remove the rollers and ta-da long-lasting curls or insanity either way you'll love your hair!
