The Nioxin starter kit. They have it for beginning, intermediate and advanced hair loss. For some people it'll help regrowth and for others, there might not be any regrowth, but they don't lose anymore hair. It depends on your scalp.

My mom has really REALLY thin hair. It looks most volume-full after she uses premier "body double" and "edit."

they make rogain for women... havent tried it... try the dermatologist. they can recommend hair vitamins and mayby a prescription steroid cream, but hair loss is heredity...good luck!
