When u go 2 a salon they wash & then color ur hair right away. If u use an @ home kit, it always says 2 wash 24 hrs ahead of time. So the natural oils can help prevent scalp damage. So what do the hair stylists do/use thats so different? I am curious. Is it the conditioners they use?

Heyyy I asked this to this guy that did my hair and he was one of my mom's friends. anyways...
Most use a specail conditioner that replaces the natural oils with anti..natural... [i just forgot what its called xD] ARTIFICAL!!! thats it.. anyways... it replaces it with artifical oils. then they dye it. OOOR... if they use Tresme or w/e they have a specail dye. Also the dye you get at walmart doesn't last longer.

OH IF YOU DYE YOUR HAIR... DON'T WASH IT WITH SHAMPOO... JUST CONDITIONER!!!
the colour lasts longer :3

It's recommended but not necessary to wash your 24 hours before, just a precaution to avoid dryness and damage. Also it's not a good idea to have an extra gunk in your hair because it will affect how the color adhere's to your hair.

My hair is at the instant my organic ash brown (which it continues to be all 365 days around, yet interior the summertime I do get some blondish spots), with some dark blue and green streaks, and my eyes are hazel.
