The aim would be to make the face appear shorter and wider.
The hair should be styled fairly close to the top of the head with a fringe that has some movement in it i.e curls or waves, combined with fullness at the sides. The length of the face will appear to be reduced. If you have a long thin neck it is best to cover up the neck with soft waves or curls.
Good luck.

Long, Layered Hair with Side bangs or even just any kind of bangs are great for long thin faces.

If this does really suit you, you could always just ask the Hairdresser do whatever would look best on me, Its there job to be able to figure the best style for anyone.

All facial features have to be taken into consideration when you want to find the best style for yourself. Not only the faceshape.
Your best option is to try different styles on a digital picture of yourself, with hairstyles software.

See link: the coiffure interior the middle is, extremely, stunning with plenty layering and a perimeter (bangs?). Layering will upload "physique" making your hair seem thicker (plus you will want a texturizing product).

Any hairstyle with the fullest part is at your jawline, not the top. Bobs are great on your face shape.
