Hair - February 2007

I got a terrble haircut about 2 weeks ago. The stylist did not listen to my wants at all and chopped it off (I just wanted a trim, she went from past my shoulders to inches above my chin), and also put on really short layer all the way around my head. You can see the top and bottom seperate no matter how I can think to style it. I went straight, looks like a mullet. I go curly, and the bottom does not go with the top at all.


I have a problem because tomorrow is a career fair. I was hoping to find a solution to this by now, because getting it fixed would require chopping my hair above my ears. I have a round face and I have tried this, and it looks awful. Does anyone have any styling suggestions? I need to look professional without looking like I have a mullet. I have naturally wavy red hair if that helps, with bangs cut to fall to one side and layered.

I have dyed my hair several times! black, black/blue, red, purple using the normal dye you buy from your local supermarket and i hve bleached it twice on my fringe and not that long ago i bleached streaks all over my hair to put pink and red on it. i then went bak into my hair dressers and asked if they could bleach the top part of the back of my hair so i could put bright red on it and they said they can't gaurante that that piece of hair will stay in???? will it really fall out?

does hair removal creams work remove hair permanently???
if not, can it remove hair permanently thru using it consistently??? any one recommend a certain cream???

I have very thick long hair and would like to know what type/brand of straightners that I should be looking for. I have heard of the Chi, but people state that it does not turn off and on that well. Has anyone heard of the Babyliss Nano? Any help would be appreciated! I would like a ceramic, ionic type that would not damage my hair.

i am going to chemically straighten my hair soon and i was wondering how long they last and how often you have to redo them. i know people are going to say going to a salon works but all she does is make me mad by saying oh but your hair is so beautiful you shouldnt do anything to it, but that makes me SO mad- i want to know what would be the best color to try and since dark hair brings out red i cant just dye it a color or it'll turn orange and that would SUCK...i need ideas puh-leeease....

A person that I know has cancer and I want to donate my hair to her. I really don't know anything about it. Can someone help me? How long do you have to grow your hair? ok so im like 14 and when i was in the 3rd grade i used l'oreal kids shampoo for wavy or curly hair (i have straight hair) and now after i take a shower my hair is sorta wavy and really frizzy. i try to straighten it by blow drying it but i dont have one of those nozzle things. it straightens my hair but its still frizzy. the next day its back to normal. my friend straightened my hair for me when it was frizzy and it really helped but i dont have a straightener and i dont want to get one if there are shampoos that can make my hair straight again and not frizzy anymore. ive read other posts and they recommended pantene and sunsilk. has anybody tried those? do they work? thanks.
