I think we often forget that celebrities like Britney Spears are people just like we are. They have needs and limits just like the rest of us. Despite the money, despite the fame, the girl is stressed. She's young, has two small children, a failed marriage, lots of fake friends, constant criticism, all the ingredients for an unhappy life.
Her life and the lives of other celebrities that have crashed and burned in similar fashion demonstrate that money can't buy everything. It can't buy happiness, and it can't buy peace of mind.
I, personally, hope that Britney takes some time to step back and look at the lives of other celebrities who's lives have had disastrous ends and do whatever it takes not to end up as they did.

I think maybe she is having some kind of breakdown or something. She is super famous, so people follow her everywhere and report everything she does, I know that would drive me crazy. Now she is a divorced mother of two babies and she is only 25, she grew up too fast! I never really cared much for her or her music, but I still feel bad for her and her kids. I guess that is the price you pay to be a child star. So sad.

Honestly I think the girl has lost it. She needs someone to help her in some way....this is what happens when you have fame and fortune at such a young age. Now 2 children....what is going to become of them......the children need stability, and right now their mother is not stable. It is now up to her parents to make sure that she gets the help that she needs. Otherwise, she is going to loose those children.....and she will end up lie Anna Nicole Smith.

There could be many reasons why she did that.
a) she wants the attention (and shes getting it!)
b) she wants to show people that she doesn't give a f*** anymore
c) she's been troubled since the whole K-Fed thing
d) she wants a new look...
among other reasons probably. but why is it any of our business? I hate when people dwell on what the celebrities do.
