is it true that after u color ur hair u cant use a hair straightener? i cant remember where i heard that but i did. im soon going to color my hair again and want to know before i do something that will mess it up. thanks for ur answers!

I color my hair every 4 to 6 weeks. Actually I double process it which means that I color first and then as soon as it is dry I highlight it. My hair stylist uses a straightener to style my hair as soon as I am done. My hair is in very good condition considering what I put it through and no mention has ever been made about not using my straightener.
I am also assuming you mean a flat iron.

I guess I'm not sure what you mean? Straightener as in a flat iron, or a chemical relaxer? If you mean flat iron....you can use it, but use a heat protecting product on your hair prior. If you mean chemical relaxer....NO! Your hair will break off

You can so. I do and my hair is just fine. However, I do use a product on it that's supposed to protect it from the heat and lock in the moisture. It's still shiny and healthy.
