ok so im like 14 and when i was in the 3rd grade i used l'oreal kids shampoo for wavy or curly hair (i have straight hair) and now after i take a shower my hair is sorta wavy and really frizzy. i try to straighten it by blow drying it but i dont have one of those nozzle things. it straightens my hair but its still frizzy. the next day its back to normal. my friend straightened my hair for me when it was frizzy and it really helped but i dont have a straightener and i dont want to get one if there are shampoos that can make my hair straight again and not frizzy anymore. ive read other posts and they recommended pantene and sunsilk. has anybody tried those? do they work? thanks.

thanks everybody! my hair is frizzy after i take a shower even if i dont blow dry my hair and i looked at the purple and blue sunsilk shampoo and they both seem to fit my hair. because its wavy after i take a shower and i want it to be straight and because its just frizzy, but i just want to get one and i dont know which one to get, the straighten-up or anti-poof. i might get the pantene...will it straighten my hair? but again, thanks everybody!!

forget sunsilk. biosilk is a great product that can also be used on the skin to lock in moisture. try using a large roundbrush with you dryer. there are also smoothing creams that really help with the de-frizzing. sexy hair concepts makes an entire line of products called straight sexy hair, and that includes shampoo and conditioner

Ok, this is what I do.... my hair is wavy. Wash your hair everyother day only. Use Pantene Smooth & Silky or the purple Sunsilk. Wash and leave in the conditioner for about 15 mins. Towel dry your hair first. DO NOT RUB the towel, instead gently squeeze the towel over your hair. Next apply a small amount of the 24/7 creme if you use sunsilk or Smooth Start creme from Pantene. When you blow dry your hair, do it in sections. Start at the bottom, pull you hair with a round brush as you dry it. Hope this helps!!!

My friend used sunsilk straight, she has curly hair and she would have to blow dry her hair and then straighten it as well she said she can now skip the blow drying and go right to the straightner, and blow drying your hair is what really makes it frizzy, so you shoud just get a straightner. Sunsilk all the way, i now use the one that gives you more fullness, and i love it.
Another thing, if you have the time, clip up half of your hair and then comb the rest of it when its wet and keep combing it for like 10 minutes, this is "training" it to be straight, then let down the other half and keep combing your hair for another 10 minutes.

Hello,
Try Super Skinny shampoo and conditioner from Paul Mitchell (only avai. at salons) This work great. To blow it dry remember to always use a straightening blow dry cream and a very large round brush. The staightening cream will control the frizzyness and protect the hair from some of the damage blow drying causes. Joico make some great product for that as well as Redken. Try Joico's Silk Results thermal straightening cream or The smooth down products from Redken. Remember when you buy products from a salon save your receipt and if your not satisfied you can return them for a full refund. Any reputable salon can help you choose what would work best for your hair. In beauty school they taught us that the three worst product in the stores that you can use are Pantene, Prell, and Pert. I would stay clear of these. Good Luck

I use Sunsilk. Try it!!! It really does work. The frizzy one is the blue bottle. And use the Conditioner with the shampoo too. I hated my frizzy hair but i love how my hair isn't 5 feet wide no more. Good luck!

What works for me is...after shampooing and before my hair is totally dry, while it's still damp, I use a little bit of Gel and then just let it air dry. And use a plastic brush or a big comb, also while it's still wet, so your hair will cling in strands instead of every hair flying around on it's own.

Try Frizz-Ease for the frizz. It works great.
I use Garnier Fructise for frizz. It works okay.
As far as making your hair straight, you can have it chemically straightened at a salon!
