Ladies w/braids, locks or twists can't brush their hair, right? I'm caucasian and from time to time it feels good on my scalp to brush my hair thoroughly. It's invigorating. A friend of mine has long locks which she's had for years & years...she gets them twisted up from time to time to lock in the new growth. Her hair looks great...but does that mean she hasn't been able to brush or comb her hair for 10+ years? It just strikes me as odd. Caucasions constantly brush their hair to groom it.

She's never had a relaxer in her hair or any other type of chemical. What can I do to help stimilate her hair growth? What REALLY works?

Im going to the hairdressers soon and dunno what to do, so all you stylish girls help me out her! I've got really dark brown hair that go down just a lil bit lower than my shoulders. I want a Ashley Tisdale type fringe, but I thought that only looks good with curly hair (like my avatar picture), and mine a straight, I cant curl it for school every day! So girls, what shall I get done?

Thanks xxx

I've tried moose, and I'm not sure what else to use, I've never had a perm before and don't really know what to do, I would like soft curl that don't go hard and look natural. thanks.

I use a L'oreal permanent hair colour to cover white hair every 5-6 weeks & have done so for 10 years. Am wondering if I should try a natural hair colour.

My younger cousin's formal sweet 16 party is tonight. i got my hair touched-up last sunday, so right now it is straight. my hair is shoulder length, but i don't want to wear it out like i always do (i'm self-concious about my neck normally, but i really dont care tonight since its just family and im not concerened with impressing 16 year olds). i need a simply style that I can do on my own, that doesn't require too much time and hair gel. i was thinking either a low ponytail of some sort. Or an updated 50s-style updo that i've been seeing in hollywood. suggestions?

my hair is really thick, and the curls are wild, and more like waves, while the top half of my hair just goes boff and doesnt curl at all.
it also doesnt stay in any hair style i want, lol and ye ive tried hairspray.

is there any way i can get "relaxed" waves, without my hair being too thick??
and as im only 15 are there any style tips that could help me? i just dont know what to do with my hair anymore. thank you!!

I have extra long hair. It reaches just below my bottom area. I will be donating my hair in a month and I want to have one more stylish look before cutting it off. Any ideas? I don't want something crazy like a fro or spikes and I don't want to dye it.
My hair is black with a lot of brown highlights. I normally wear it up with a jaw clip and it looks half black half brown.

I'm making synthetic dread falls for my hair, and I'm trying to make them less skinny and with more volume. In order to do this you have to backcomb... but what exactly is that? Like flipping your head over and combing through? How can I do this with synthetic hair that is lying on an ironing board?? thanks!

As examples:
Does a hairy back gross you out?
Do you like facial hair on your guy?
Do you prefer a hairy chest or a smooth one?
Do you like your man to shave "down there"?

You get the idea, don't you? Thanks for sharing your opinion!

My wife has dark blonde hair & she wants her hair light blonde but a natural way. Is there a way to bleach one's hair naturally without damaging it? If she stays in the sun for about an hour, will it make her hair lighter? Also if she wears sunscreen, will that prevent premature wrinkles from forming? Do those special shampoos for blondes also make hair blonder naturally? Like which shampoos work the best?

Look at his hair. FORGET THE HAIR COLOR. Focus on the texture/style of it.
1. Do you think it's nice?
2. How can I get it like that most importantly?
3. And my hair is thick. Does his look thick too? Can I still shape it like that?

I have a round face. Im not ugly but its round, but of course i would like it thinner. (its not fat just wide) i grew my hair long, (about an inch under my ear) but im really getting fed up with it. I wanna chop it all off and leave only an inch or two and spike it (preppy spikes). But i scared it will make my face look even bigger. What do you think?
