A conditioner is heavier and will be more moisterizing. A creme rinse or 'finishing rinse' as I've been used to using, is much lighter and will not weigh your hair down as much. Myself being a blonde, I have to wash my hair everyday so I stick to a nice and light finishing rinse aka creme rinse. Hope this helps!

about 20 dollars there is no difference it just sound fancy .also if u take a old hairspray bottle and rinse it out good.lii it like 1/3 with conditioner and the rest water you have no more tangles home made
