She's never had a relaxer in her hair or any other type of chemical. What can I do to help stimilate her hair growth? What REALLY works?

I'd invest in a gentle hair lotion that is water based and has no mineral oil or petroleum in it, to soften the hair and a detangler like Just for Me. Comb her hair while its wet, condition it frequently. It probably just needs more moisture. Don't put it in tight ponytails cause they cause the hair to break, especially if you're using rubber bands. If you are braiding her hair, don't put the braids in tight and don't leave them in for more than 3 weeks cause it weakens the hair and causes breakage. It could also be her diet, you could give her Flintstones Complete for a vitamin boost. Also try combing it less, combing puts stress on the hair and after awhile it can break the hair.

Do you use a lot of rubber bands, ponytails, clips, or barrettes? They may be breaking her hair. Give her hair a break from those things. If her hair falls in her eyes, take her for a trim and have them cut some bangs, but don't cut her hair yourself. And give her some multivitamins to help promote hair growth.

If she wears ponytails frequently, her hair may need a rest from them. If she has braids, they may be in too tight. You shouldn't put any chemicals (relaxer) in her hair if you are trying to get it to a healthier point. You should condition it often and use an oil moisturizer (I like Motions). I would suggest braiding without using elastics, just make sure they aren't too tight!

do not use any extra relaxers on her hair(even those made for toddlers).also,in simple terms be positive you oil her scalp regularly.frequently at the same time as the hair turns into dry it receives itchy and uncomfortable.try a hair grease containing tea tree oil.also, do not do some thing which will unnecessarily pull on the hair as this motives breakage besides(a great number of rubber bands, tight braids or a great number of barrettes.

...STOP putting her plats so tight...
...I have two bald spots on the side of my hair and have had them since childhood due to the plats on the side of my head being so tight...
...I looked adorable but that hair was pulled back so tight not a nap or crinkle popped up...
Also you can use baby lotion as a pomade to help soften the hair and brush it back... carrot oil and olive oil come in a pomade that you can use as well...
I don't know what will help it come in...but stop pulling it so tight...this summer give her some braids with beads...you'll only have to touch her hair maybe 3-5 times the whole summer if you make them a nice small but not skinny size...

Message her hair line area with Doo Gro Stimulating Root Oil, using the balls of your finger. Messaging the scalp and hair line area will help promote hair growth.
