shampoo your hair in LUKEWARM water, not freezing cold or steaming hot water.

Towel dry your hair gently by squeezing your hair strands with the towel instead of rubbing through it vigirously- bad for your damp hair as it is quite brittle.

apply some leave in treatment/hair mask/hair conditioner while its stil semi-damp, that way your hair will best absorb the nutrients plus it wont be so frizzy.

It depends on how your hair is and your climate. If your hair is always like that, then that's just how your hair is, and you'll have to find ways to deal with it. Like putting pommade in it, and other methods to keep it tamed. Hair gets static and frizz from the moisture that's in the air. I mean the fastest solution would be to spritz some really light hair spray over it, although you should avoid hair spray.

That happens to me a lot so usually before I leave I get spray my hair down a little bit with a spray bottle.

They have the bottles at CVS for like $2, then you just fill it up with water.

Buy conditioner if that doesn't help

P.S Its not gay to use conditioner

I read somehwerethat if you rub dryer sheets on your hair that works. I never get static so ive never tried it, but it seems like it would work.
