I have a round face. Im not ugly but its round, but of course i would like it thinner. (its not fat just wide) i grew my hair long, (about an inch under my ear) but im really getting fed up with it. I wanna chop it all off and leave only an inch or two and spike it (preppy spikes). But i scared it will make my face look even bigger. What do you think?

personally i dont like skinny or thin faces, your face shape sounds good, i wouldnt try to change it. also i do not like guys with short hair, so i would defientely keep your hair long!! but its your decision so good luck!

If you go to a salon where they can Thin your hair and give you an idea of how it would look short to be honest I dont think anyone can pull off spikes these days with a round face its just not gonna work!

Having texture and spikes on top will be good. It will slim out your features because it will give the illusion of length to your face. Just don't spike the sides because your face will look bigger.

I am a cosmetology student so hopefully I can help ya. Try a style that goes in toward your round face. Any thing flipped out or swept away from your face will make it appear larger. Try adding some height to your style big hair is coming back ya know.

most the time, short hair on wide faced people can either make them look really good, or it can destroy their face, it really depends on how wide and bone structure and all that, i suggest you go to a proffessional hair salon

The hair should be longer and taller on top to elongate your face.
