First of all, I have normal to thin hair that is past my shoulders. It has a little bit of a wave, so I straighten it. I have never dyed my hair before.

I'll tell you my normal hair care routine and then you can give me any tips that would make my hair any better.

I take a shower at night every other day. I wash my hair with tresemme deep cleansing shampoo. I condition my hair with tresemme moisture rich conditioner and leave it on for 1-2 minutes, and then I wash it out. When I get out of the shower, I put my hair up in a towel. About five minutes later, I take it out of the towel and comb it, and then I put it back up in the towel. Then I put some gel in my hair. Sometimes, I put my hair in a clip after the towel and then go to sleep with it like that and then I wake up in the morning and blow dry the areas that are still wet. Then I straighten it. Other times, after I take my hair out of the towel, I blow dry it, but it is all poofy. I then put garnier fructis smoothing milk on my hair and then go to bed. In the morning I straighten it. If it is still poofy, I jus wear it up in a ponytail.

I’m still looking around for a good gel to use, so if anyone has a good gel to use please tell me.

I have a ceramic straightening iron, but I think it is still to damaging to my hair.

Amy suggestions would help.

Thanks!!!

Hi, im a guy and I've suffered from oily/greasy hair my whole life. It also looks damaged/dull and thick.

Do you know any shampoos that will get rid of the oilyness, but make my hair softer and repair my damage.

Also, I don't like to spend a lot of money on hair products.

There's a commercial with a school full of Asian kids and there's a girl and a guy who use V05 to make themselves look different from everybody else. Then they get in trouble and run away holding hands. I want my hair to look like that girl. Does anybody know how?

I heard you can save money if you get your hair dyed by a beauty school or something like that? Is that good? How much would it be? How do you find one? If you fine one, do you call and just say can I get my hair dyed from your students?

I have very straight, just-below-the-shoulder length hair. Each time I try to curl it (either with curlers or a curling iron), only the bottom will get a slight wave. I have tried wrapping my hair around the curling iron beginning at the top, but it just doesn't work out. The only time it works is whenever I spend an hour at the salon.

Any suggestions?

my hair is naturally black and curly. i straighten it every day and the cut is about shoulder length in the back but a little shorter in the front layers. it's layered but nothing extreme, just side bangs. i want a more "edgy" style but nothing that makes me look too gothic rock or whatever because that is far from the image i lead (haha) what do you think will do the trick?? thanks!
